Sharing Sensitive Data

Modified on Tue, 1 Aug, 2023 at 10:06 AM

Disclosing patient identifiable data (i.e. full name, full number) in a support ticket is a data breach.

Our ticketing platform is not a secure network to share this type of data.

If you need to disclose any personal information so that we can assist you with an issue please follow the following steps:

  1. Raise a ticket via our support desk with an overview of the issue (without any patient data)
  2. Then send any necessary patient sensitive information to [email protected] making reference to the ticket you raised to our support desk
  3. To ensure we don't miss this email please notify us on the ticket you raised that you have sent that information through.

Non compliance with the above could lead to restriction of access to our systems for the member of Staff in question until we are satisfied that they have completed the appropriate data protection courses, as well as understanding the importance of data protection and the consequences of data protection principles not being complied with.
